Since the debut inDecember 1999, the MDM series of conferences has established itself as a prestigious forum for the exchange of innovative and significant research results in mobile data management. The conference provides unique opportunities for researchers, engineers, practitioners, developers, and users to explore new ideas, techniques, and tools, and to exchange experiences. Starting from 2009, MDM will extend its scope to cover research issues in mobile systems, services and middleware.
Call for Industrial Paper
Scope
The industrial track of MDM 2009 is to offer a great opportunity for professionals from the data management and mobile computing communities to share their practical experience and disseminate information of particular interest to each other involved in real-world system development.
We solicit original papers on various aspects of the design, implementation, and deployment of mobile data and information management systems in real-world applications. The topics of interest are similar to those in the MDM 2009 conference call for papers. However, we emphasize practical experience and lessons learned for the Industrial Track submissions. We aim to disseminate information of particular interest to developers and others involved in real-world systems.
